Practical Information

This year’s FoME-Symposium “Observer, Agitator, Target – Media and Media Assistance in Fragile Contexts” is organized and hosted by MiCT – Media in Cooperation and Transition.

It will take place on the 3rd and 4th November 2016 at the Robert Bosch Stiftung, Französische Strasse 32, 10117 Berlin. See here how to get to the Robert Bosch Stiftung.

The admission is 50,00 EUR (including lunch on both days).

Registration deadline is Friday the 7th of October 2016.

Upon your registration, you will receive an invoice for the conference fee of 50 Euros. Once you have transferred the money, you will get the final confirmation of your registration.

The planning group includes CAMECO, GIZ, MiCT, IDEM, Reporter Without Borders, the Deutsche Welle Academy, the Robert Bosch Foundation and the Institute of Applied Media Studies (IAM) of the Zurich University for Applied Sciences (ZHAW). Prof. Dr. Carola Richter and Dr. Indira Dupuis are involved in the planning process as academic partners representing the division on International and Intercultural Communication of the German Association of Communication Sciences (DGPuK).

The FoME Symposium 2016 is further supported by AGEH, Brot für die WeltFriedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom, Friedrich Ebert Foundation and Konrad Adenauer Foundation.
