This open discussion with partners from the South was set in motion by a presentation from Gabriella Razzano, Head of Legal Research, Open Democracy Advice Center, South Africa. Among the key issues which were deliberated on were the congruence or lack of in defining what constitutes ownership between partners, factors which can influence how this ownership is understood/operationalized such as financial resources and how ownership can be guaranteed on the part of those executing at every stage of the project management.
